Nicola Wilhelmsen BFA FNZIPP
Nicola has been part of Kelk Photography for over 16 years and has recently taken over the business. Nic loves photographing weddings, families and children. She has won multiple awards for her work and continues to grow and push herself as a photographer. In 2015 she was awarded ‘NZIPP Creative Portrait Photographer of the year’. She is currently a Master with distinction of the NZIPP (New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography). Nic's passion is wedding photography and her work has a classic, timless quality to it. Nicola also volunteers as a photographer for the ‘Heartfelt’ and 'A Star is born' charities.
Nic is currently taking bookings for next year’s wedding season which is filling very fast
Tiffany Maxwell
Tiff is our current photo editor and does a lot of our production work here at the studio.
She is very experienced with photoshop and other editing programmes. She does some amazing restoration work, and is our number one passport photographer !
Barry Kelk
Barry established Kelk Photography in 1982. While Barry is mostly retired these days he's still keen to return to Kelk from time to time for some contract work. You will still see him involved in the buiness he built up for 40 years. Barry has a teaching background which means he has great people skills when it comes to large groups at reunions or a school class.
From the early days of film processing and a colour darkroom, Barry has seen Kelk Photography move to a digital world with downloadable files, high quality retouching, and clients storing their photos in a cloud .
Kerry Crosland
Kerry (married to Barry), has been working at Kelk Photography since the early ‘80s. She was awarded her associateship with the NZIPP in 1993. Kerry has also mostly retired from the business but you will still see her out photographing some schools and reunions. Her work is creative and innovative. Kerry will always go the extra mile on a job, and work hard for her clients. Kerry is at an age where she gets alongside brides and grooms, mums and dads, and grandparents alike. She really enjoys working with people.
Belinda Maitland
Belinda’s greatest strength is second shooting on weddings. She records the most beautiful pictures of what’s going on behind the scenes, and always finds an interesting angle. Most couples comment on how they never realised that ‘shot’ was being taken.
